Our History
It all started in Macon, GA, in 1965, when Robert Lee purchased a used compressor and rebuilt it for a local customer. His work stood for itself, and the customer returned with more compressors for Robert to work on. From there, Air Compressor Sales was born, and the business quickly took off.
Robert started in a single-room storefront in Macon, leased to him by his uncle. Since those early days, we have added on to this location, opening an Atlanta branch in 1983 and building 30,000 sq. ft. of storefront, manufacturing, and warehouse space to serve our thousands of customers. Now, Air Compressor Sales is proud to be a multi-million dollar operation. We are one of the top distributors and builders of compressors in Georgia and suppliers of compressor parts throughout the country. Plus, customers can now rely on us for CNC machining services through our most recent division, ACS CNC Machining.
