Air Dryers and Filtration
settingsProtect Your Equipment. Eliminate Contamination.
Compressed Air Dryers and Air Filtration
Bypass equipment damage and air contamination with high-quality air dryers and filtration systems from Air Compressor Sales. Our compressed air dryers and filters work to tackle moisture and particles in the compressed air process so that moisture-sensitive machinery will function properly for years to come, and your equipment will remain water- and particle-free.
Refrigerated Air Dryers, Desiccant Air Dryers, and Air Filters
Air dryers and air filters are crucial aspects of the compressed air process. While filters remove particles that could compromise production processes, dryers remove moisture that could compromise both the production process and the compressor components.

About Refrigerated Air Dryers
Refrigerated air dryers work to remove water vapor from the air by condensing the vapors for easy collection and removal. A refrigerated air dryer is the more common type of system in compressed air applications, as the dryer treats the incoming air, allowing for a continuous flow of dry air. Systems can be cycling or non-cycling.

- Low operation costs
- Low maintenance costs
- Highly reliable
- Effective at extending the life of your compressor

About Desiccant Air Dryers
Rather than cooling the air to condense the moisture, desiccant air dryers work to absorb the moisture in the compressed air process. Air is sent through a vessel and taken to a pair of drying agent towers, where desiccant material absorbs the moisture and is then dried out.
Desiccant air dryers are best suited for applications that require ultra-low dew points, such as those using moisture-sensitive equipment or requiring completely moisture-free air.
Benefits of a Desiccant Air Dryer
- Lower dew points
- Freeze protection
- Better system protection
- Better product quality
- Consistent performance for more reliable operations

About Air Filters
Before air reaches the drying stage, it undergoes pre-filtration to remove larger particles, dirt, and debris from the air, making the drying process easier, cleaner, and more efficient. Plus, pre-filtration helps protect the air dryer’s components from corrosion or damage too quickly.
Depending on the air drying system or your operation’s requirements, your dryer could feature any of the following types of filtration:
- Particulate filters: These filters typically use a membrane to trap and collect larger particles from the air before it reaches the drying stage.
- Oil coalescing filters: These filters incorporate small droplets of liquid into the air to merge with the much smaller vapors already present in the air. These droplets are then collected, along with any dirt particles.
- Activated carbon filters: These filters are best for collecting gaseous contaminants from the air using the activated carbon present in the filter.
Warranty Protection and the ACS Guarantee
Every product we sell is backed by the manufacturer’s warranties and the ACS guarantee. If your system or equipment isn’t working correctly after installation, we’ll work to find the cause of the issue, find the right solutions, and get your equipment up and running properly.
